The Journey Is Part Of The Gift

One day a young man wanted to give his new wife a birthday present but he had no money. So he set out on a three day journey to the beach. When he got there he reached down and grabbed a handful of sand. Then he turned around started on his three day journey back home. When he got back it was his wife's birthday. He walked up to her grabbed her open hand and poured the sand in. He said "Happy Birthday My Love." She said owe babe what a wonderful gift, but a six day journey to the beach, you didn't have to do that, that was much on you. He looked at her with all the love and passion anyone could have for someone and said; "The Journey Is Part Of The Gift." That is what God is Saying to all of us. Life may be challenging at times but it's just part of our journey.

My Life In-Short

I grow-up in a nice upper middle class neighborhood but I could not wait to get to the hood, the hood was exciting. I winded-up on the streets, homeless, doing drugs, weighing 98 pounds. I went to treatment 24 years ago. I went back to school, Morehouse College, became a Therapist for Fulton County Detox (Saving Lives), then The Creative Finance Director for Jim Ellis Volkswagen, then became the owner of one of the Hottest Club's in the country, ask somebody (Club Money's), then that thrust me into the music business. I've stood on the stage with some of the best. From Rick James, OutKast, Lil Wayne, 2Chainz, Rick Ross, TI, Jeezy, just to name a few. I've been published in several articles and books. Now I have a great job and I'm a Disciple of Christ (Saving Lives). I do not wish to live in the pass but I won't close the door on it ether. The pass made me who I am and for that I'm grateful. I can't wait to see what God has for me next.
My autobiography is coming and boy do I have a story to tell.

Life Is Like The Seasons

It's easy to work hard when times are bad but what about when times are good. When things are headed in the right direction? Remember life is like the seasons. You will have a Spring, Summer, and even a Fall. But Winter is coming every year. So in the good times save-up for the bad time. Because Winter is coming every year like clock work so be ready. Don't get me wrong enjoy your good days but always be prepared for challenging times. God gives us all the tools we need to live a balanced and successful Life. Please do not neglect but take advantage!

All the adversity I've had in my life, all my troubles and obstacles, have strengthened me... I may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the
teeth may be the best thing in the world for me.
1 Peter 5:10 "And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you."

What Are You Giving

New Born Baby Boy

I have a new born baby boy (5 days old) in my house. He's not mine but another family member's. He may not be mine maternally but he belongs to us all. He just came from a visit with God. God gave him to all of us and the question is what will we do with him. He is so precious and pure. He has not been tainted by the ways of this world. He has only two fears, the fear of falling and the fear of a loud sound. All other fear he will have to learn. He is a bundle of joy and courage willing to learn all he need to live a spiritual, God fearing, successful Life. From the age of 0 to 6 he will be a sponge adsorbing everything he will need to survive. Now that I said all of that I will say again. How will you contribute to the new lives around you, what influence will you be to these precious gifts from God. What you do does matter. He is watching and absorbing even when you don't see him. "HE SEE YOU"

Connected To Family

We will always be connected to our family especially our children. We will see the world through their eye and they will see through ours. We carry them with us everywhere we go and they carry us.
Proverbs 6:20 "My son, keep your father's commands and do not forsake your mother's teaching."
This massage is because of my daughter Jessica who lives in Honolulu, Hawaii and son Ryan who Lives in San Diego, California. Their Love for me for Father's Day. I Love them and I feel their Love for me. It matters what you do no matter where you are. You will always represent your family so represent them well. "God See You" God Loves You and So Do I.

It don't take much to become a daddy. But it takes a real man to be a father.
What is a father? A God fearing man. A man of integrity. A man that excepts responsibility. Now! If you are a guy who has one or more children you help birth then which one are you? Are you a father or just another baby daddy.

I Value Who I Am

I may not be the smartest person alive and that's okay. But because of my determination, unquestionable drive, willingness to let go, and "My Love For God", I can not fail. You know the saying; "I can't loss with the stuff I use". Every morning I get up and I thank God to be sober and in my right mind. I'm free, not incarcerated, but also free mentally, physically, and spiritually. I listen to D.J. Jakes, Joel Osteen, Creflo Dollar, Joyce Meyer, Less Brown, and/or Jim Rohn "EVER MORNING" sometimes more but very rear a little less. Now, I'm not saying you should do what I do but I will say, and strongly emphasize, never work harder on your job or someone else than you do "YOURSELF"!!!!!

Never Too Busy

No matter how crazy life gets, we must always make time for God, Family, and Friends. If you only hit your knees for one minute, make a phone call, or just let them see you smile. Remember some people, places, or things can never be replaced.
My life is crazy busy right now, but never to busy to serve and stop and drop you a massage because you are very important to me. "YES" If you are reading this I mean you! I pray we all continue to recognize our own individual gifts.

Receive Blessings

I order to have something you never had, you have to do something you never did.
When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you but merely opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the grace of God will not protect you. Something good will happen to you. Please be willing to receive it.

Still Here

I know It may seem like I have faded but I'm still here. Sometimes we may need to step back in order to sling forward.

I'm still here just reinventing my life once again. "By The Grace Of God" and opportunity, I can't wait to see what God has in store for my life and yours.

Grateful For New Beginings

Four months ago I prayed for a new opportunity, a new beginning. Because I am faithful God provided. Now that I'm in the misted I tend to want to complain. Say things like, this is too hard, why does it have to be so difficult, maybe I made a mistake. Instead of saying, because of this grand opportunity and these difficulties I have new found strengths. I'm going to come out of this much stronger and wiser.
I thank God for all I am, all I have, and all I shall have. I thank God for every single thing. I pray you "Thank Him" too......

Asking for Things

We pray for things. We beg, plead and sometime cry to get things. Most times we get what we ask for. Then what happens, we forget what we did to get these things. Keep doing what you're doing and you will keep getting what you're getting. That works both ways.
